The aim of this innovation project is to develop a system to evaluate the probability of failure of ground-level electronic and micro-electronic systems caused by extreme space weather events. The project exploited the latest research and models on solar events. This will help inform partners’ procurement and retrofitting approaches to achieve resilience criteria and failure tolerance.
