The aim of this innovation project is to develop an innovative tool which will help predict where and when excessive Dissolved Organic Matter (DOM) levels are likely to occur in water supply catchments, in relation to climate change effects. Accordingly, the user will be able to better predict DOM-related risks and prioritise investment in water treatment assets to treat these elevated levels, and/or to initiate sustainable catchment planning to reduce the rate of increase.
