Hazards

High impact low probability event, Severe space weather and solar radiation

The aim of this innovation project is to develop global maps of risk to forecast the occurrence of space-weather phenomena impacting systems reliant on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (e.g. transport, surveying, emergency services, etc.). These maps will help predict such phenomena in terms of combination of likelihood and severity for specific systems and their interdependencies.
