The aim of this innovation project is to develop a decision-support framework to incorporate river bank stability in drinking water and wastewater pipeline crossing risk assessment The project will evaluate the uncertainty in the existing low-cost app-based inspection database by (a) re-surveying a sample of crossings using the existing app (b) augmenting this information with Google Earth imagery, high-res aerial images and legacy LIDAR records to assess the uncertainties in the existing database. The outputs from the project will inform future approaches to future risk assessments.
