Hazards

Geological hazards

The aim of this innovation project is to develop a low-cost early warning system for remote monitoring of vulnerable earthwork structures within the transportation and utilities sectors. This system will assist asset managers, consultants and monitoring service providers as a decision-support tool by evaluating internal conditions of assets to guide remediation and maintenance strategies as well as providing early warning of potential failure events.
